Aditya Karki is a personal portfolio and writing site. This page describes what happens on adityakarki.me in plain language.
What this site is
The site is mostly static pages (home, projects, essays). There are no accounts, comments, or sign-in forms hosted here. Reading posts or browsing projects does not create a profile on this server.
Cookies
The homepage may set a single first-visit preference cookie (
aditya_home_entrance_dismissed) when you dismiss the entrance overlay. It remembers that choice for the rest of
the day in your browser, uses SameSite=Lax, and is scoped to this site. You can remove it anytime via
your browser settings.
External links and embeds
Some cards link out to Notion or other sites you choose to open; those services have their own privacy policies. The Projects page shows public information from GitHub (for example repository names and language stats) when configured; that data is fetched over HTTPS and is already public on GitHub.
Hosting and logs
Like any website, the host or CDN in front of this site may keep standard access logs (for example IP address, rough location, browser type, and pages requested) for security and operations. This site does not use those logs to build a marketing profile here.

This policy may change as the site evolves. The “Legal” link in the footer will always point to the current version. For questions, use the social links in the footer.
